The Girls Room Reveal
The girls room is done and decorated! It was so much fun to put everything together. We were limited for space because the girls are sharing a room so we needed to put two twin beds in the room. They aren't quite old enough for a bunk bed yet, but eventually we'll get one to free up more space. We worked with what we had and the girls love it! I kept the decor pretty neutral and timeless so they can grow into it. I stuck with whites, woods and pink.
BEDDING
My favorite part of the room by far is the girls bedding. Beddy's Beds are patented blankets that zip up on on each side and tuck under the mattress. They look so finished and put together and are so easy to make. Honestly even if they're not zipped up they still look more "made" than a regular blanket. Every time I walk into the girls rooms now it looks so clean and tidy. They are also made out of the softest material and the ruching and detail are so pretty. The girls love them. An added bonus is that we could take the side rail off of Rosie's bed because now we can just zip her in! If you're interested you can use code STACEY20 for 20% off your Beddy's purchase!
BOOKSHEVLES
We had a cube storage box on the floor with the girls books at the base of Everly's bed, but it was so tight that the girls could barely get in there to get a book. I wanted to get some bookshelves to get them up off the floor and free up some space. I ended up getting three of the Mosslanda Picture Ledges from IKEA and put their books up on the wall. It made room below for me to make a little reading corner and the girls love reading their books now! I just put a sheepskin rug down with their big bear at the back for them to lean against.
NAME SIGNS
I won Everly's name sign right after she was born and I forget who it was through, but I got Rosie's made by TinyTimberandCo. The quality is incredible and it she let me see a mock-up before she made it so it was exactly what I pictured. She has so many choices for font and design. I got the 24" round sign on weathered oak.
WALL DECOR
I got two pink baskets from Target to put on the wall, which holds the girls handmade dolls from @teaovertales. I also found the cutest sign from Hobby Lobby that says Little Babe Cave. When I showed it to Ev she thought it was the coolest thing, and like their own little secret hideout. We might move it into the basement one day but right now I love it in their room.
TABLE AND CHAIRS
They got this set from IKEA for Christmas. It's perfect for their makeup, jewelry and Unicorn nightlight. The mirror that I put up was actually in the bathroom when we bought the house. I kind of like the vintage touch, or I may paint the frame one day down the road.
CHANDELIER
I actually bought this chandelier for my old room in my parents house, and ever since Everly was born my plan was to put it in her room. I'm so happy that we were finally able to make it happen! I got it from IKEA and I love the feminine detail it gives the room. It's the perfect finishing touch!
Best,
Stacey
